ADSS 24–96 Core Single-Jacket Aerial Cable, 100 m Span

ADSS cable adopts a loose tube stranded design. Optical fibers, each with a 250m diameter, are housed and protected within tubes made from high modulus plastic, which are filled with a water-blocking compound. These tubes and fillers are helically stranded around a central FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) rod that serves as a non-metallic strength element, forming a compact, circular core. A thin polyethylene (PE) inner jacket is then applied. Surrounding this, aramid yarns are helically wound to provide additional tensile strength. Finally, the entire assembly is enclosed with a PE or AT (anti-tracking) outer sheath, completing the cable.
