The GYTA53 cable is specifically engineered for direct buried (underground) installations where high mechanical protection is mandatory. Designed to withstand extreme pressure and rodent attacks, it features a sophisticated Double-Armored and Double-Jacket construction.

At its core, the fibers are housed in high-modulus loose tubes filled with a water-resistant compound. The structure includes an aluminum tape (APL) moisture barrier, an inner PE sheath, and a longitudinal corrugated steel tape (PSP) armor, all encased in a rugged outer PE jacket. This multi-layer defense makes the GYTA53 the “gold standard” for harsh underground environments.
