The GYXTW cable consists of 250µm optical fiber ribbons placed into a loose tube made from a high-modulus material, filled with a gel filling compound. The loose tube is coated with a PSP (Polyester Steel Tape) for longitudinal protection. To prevent water ingress, a water-blocking material is inserted between the metallic strength member and the loose tube, ensuring the cable’s compactness and protection against longitudinal water seepage. Two parallel steel wires are positioned on either side, and the cable is finally completed with a PE outer sheath.
